Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 June 2026
In short
Qualit.ly is a free information and tooling service for the rep finds community. We index publicly-shared QC photos, convert marketplace links and look up parcel tracking. We are nota seller. We don't take payment for products, hold stock, or ship anything, and what you buy and from whom is your decision and your responsibility. Use the service fairly and lawfully.
1. These terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Qualit.ly (“Qualit.ly”, “we”, “us”), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. They govern your use of the Qualit.ly website, the Qualit.ly Discord bot, the public REST API and our other tools (together, the “Service”).
By using the Service, creating an account, or adding our bot to a Discord server, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use Qualit.ly
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, the same minimum age as Discord. By using Qualit.ly you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
If you add our bot to a Discord server, or accept these Terms on behalf of a server or organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
3. What Qualit.ly is (and isn’t)
The Service provides:
- a searchable database of QC (quality control) photos publicly shared by the community;
- a Discord link converter and bot that turns Taobao, Weidian and 1688 links into shopping-agent links;
- a parcel-tracking lookup tool;
- a seller/storefront directory and a public REST API.
Qualit.ly is an information and tooling service only. We are not a shop, marketplace, shopping agent or freight forwarder. We do notsell goods, take payment for products, hold inventory, source, inspect, ship or deliver anything, and we are not a party to any transaction you enter into with a marketplace or agent. QC photos and product data are sourced from third parties and the community, and we don't guarantee they are accurate, authentic, complete or representative of what any seller will ship.
4. No affiliation & trademarks
Qualit.ly is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with Taobao, Weidian, 1688, Discord, or any shopping agent (such as CNFans, BBDBuy, ACBuy, KAKOBuy or Sugargoo) or any brand. All product names, logos, brands and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the relevant marketplace, agent or product (nominative use). Their use does not imply any endorsement.
5. Your purchasing decisions
Qualit.ly gives you information to help you research products before you buy. Any purchase you make is your decision and your responsibility. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchases, imports and use of any goods comply with all laws that apply to you, including intellectual-property, customs, import and consumer laws in your country.
We do not encourage, facilitate or take any part in the purchase of counterfeit or infringing goods, and we make no representation about the legality, authenticity, safety or quality of any product you may find through the Service. If you're unsure whether something is lawful where you live, don't buy it.
6. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We reject disposable email addresses and domains without valid mail records.
- Keep your password and API keys secret. You're responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our breach.
- One account per person; don't share, sell or transfer your account.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for abuse or fraud.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-download our data outside the API and your plan's limits, or circumvent rate limits, IP bans, authentication or other access controls;
- overload, disrupt or attack the Service (including DoS, automated abuse, or probing for vulnerabilities without permission);
- resell, redistribute or sublicense our data, QC images or API responses except as expressly permitted by your plan;
- reverse engineer, copy or create a competing service from our database;
- upload malware, spam, or use the Service to harass, deceive or impersonate;
- misuse the bot or API keys, or share keys with third parties.
8. The Discord bot
- Only a server administrator (or someone they authorise) may add the bot to a Discord server and configure it.
- You're responsible for how the bot is used in your server and for your server's compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- The bot is provided as-is and we may change, limit or withdraw it. You can remove it from your server at any time.
- How we handle Discord data is described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Discord is also governed by Discord's own terms.
9. The public API
- API keys are personal to your account, so keep them secret and don't share them.
- Usage is subject to the rate and volume limits of your plan (see Plans & pricing). We may throttle, suspend or revoke keys that exceed limits or that we reasonably believe are being abused.
- We may change endpoints, limits or features, and we don't guarantee the API will be uninterrupted or available at any particular level unless separately agreed.
10. Paid plans & billing
- Most of Qualit.ly is free. Paid plans (Pro, Pro+ and Custom) unlock higher limits and extra features, as described on the pricing page.
- Upgrades are currently arranged manually: you contact us at [email protected] and we apply the plan to your account. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change; the price you're quoted at purchase applies for that billing period.
- You're responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
- Refunds. Because plans are digital and applied immediately, payments are generally non-refundable and all sales are final once your plan is active. This does not affect your statutory rights. Under UK consumer law you may have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital services; by asking us to apply your plan straight away you agree that performance begins immediately and acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right once it does. Where the law still requires a refund, we'll honour it.
- If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may downgrade or suspend the related access.
11. Intellectual property
The Service itself, including the website, software, design, branding, the “Qualit.ly” name, and our compiled database and arrangement of data, is owned by Qualit.ly or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose and in line with these Terms.
QC photos, product listings and other marketplace data are sourced from third parties and the community and remain the property of their respective owners. Your licence to use the Service does not give you ownership of that underlying content.
12. Copyright & takedowns
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you own the rights to an image or other content shown on Qualit.ly and want it removed, email [email protected]with: (a) a description of the content and where it appears (a URL), (b) proof of your rights, (c) your contact details, and (d) a statement that you believe the use is unauthorised. We'll review and remove infringing material promptly.
13. Content you submit
If you submit content, for example a server listing, a link, or any image, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it to operate and promote the Service. You remain responsible for what you submit, and we may remove any content at our discretion.
14. Third-party services
The Service links to and relies on third parties, such as marketplaces, shopping agents, Discord, carriers and our infrastructure providers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or for any transaction between you and them. Your dealings with those third parties are governed by their own terms.
15. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we don't warrant that: QC photos or product data are accurate, authentic, complete or match what a seller will ship; parcel-tracking information (which comes from carriers) is accurate or up to date; or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. You rely on the Service at your own discretion.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have as a consumer that can't be excluded under UK law.
16. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under applicable law.
Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data or goodwill;
- we are not liable for your purchasing decisions, for any goods you buy, for the acts of marketplaces, agents or carriers, or for losses arising from reliance on QC photos or tracking data;
- our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Qualit.ly harmless from claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your purchases, or your infringement of any law or third-party right, except to the extent caused by us.
18. Suspension & termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law) continue to apply after termination.
19. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms. We'll change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice on the site. Continuing to use Qualit.ly after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer in another part of the UK, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law where you live.
